Township residents must follow the State of Michigan’s firework law. Please be considerate to others and understand that fireworks can be distressing to neighbors and animals. State law allows fireworks on the following days AFTER 11:00 am:
• December 31 until 1:00 AM on January 1.
• The Saturday and Sunday before Memorial Day until 11:45 PM.
• June 29 to July 4 until 11:45 PM.
• July 5 if it falls on a Friday or Saturday until 11:45 PM.
• The Saturday and Sunday before Labor Day until 11:45 PM.
