Election Inspectors Wanted!

Election work is a great way to get a behind-the-scenes look at how elections are carried out.

Each election, thousands of Michiganders step up to support democracy by serving as election inspectors in their local communities. These dedicated individuals play a vital role in ensuring elections are fair, secure, and accessible, while helping create a smooth and welcoming voting experience for every voter.

Tyrone Township is seeking pleasant and dependable community members to work as Election Inspectors for both the August 4, 2026, and November 3, 2026, elections. Positions include poll workers, absentee voter counting board workers and receiving board workers.

To qualify in Michigan, you must:

• Be registered to vote in Michigan
• Be willing to declare a political party preference
• Have no felony or election-related convictions
