Tyrone Historical Society

The Society supervises and maintains historical information and artifacts. Anyone interested in viewing information or becoming involved in the history of the community are welcome. The Society meets the third Monday in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November at the Township Hall.  More information is available by calling the township office at 810-629-8631 or one of the members listed below. Please check the township calendar for events.

This 143-page book is an interesting historical account of Tyrone Township and the families who lived here from 1834-1976.  Written by township residents and published by the Historical Society, this book has lots of historical photographs.
