Clerk's Office

The Clerk's Office is responsible for maintaining all of the records for the township. Since the township records are maintained by the Clerk, all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests should be addressed to the Clerk.

The Clerk's Office is also responsible for conducting all elections within the township. (Click here for Livingston County election results) This includes voting at the National, State, County and Township levels and includes elections for local school districts, libraries and special elections. In this function the Clerk is responsible for Voter Registration and maintaining the list of registered voters. Additionally, Absentee Ballots are requested from the Clerk.

The Michigan Voter Information Center is a great resource and provides an assortment of information related to voter registration and election administration in Michigan.

The Clerk is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of all functions at the township hall. Besides the various Township Board, Commission, and Commission meetings, the Clerk can schedule meetings for homeowner, civic and other non-profit groups.
